Fort Campbell continues to be impacted by July 2016 severe weather

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell continues experience an impact from the severe weather on July 6th, and the storms since. Some areas on the installation have reopened, while others remain closed.

The Skeet Range has reopened. Individuals can access the range from Jordan Springs Road, then west end of 11th Airborne near Camp Hinsch. Jordan Springs Road has been repaved and is fully operational and 11th Airborne Division Road is also open.

The Fletchers Fork Campground and Cabins and Wohali Pavilion are closed for at least 30 days until further reassessment.

Fort Campbell’s Outdoor Recreation Skeet Range and POF Range Fee Increase

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Outdoor Recreation will institute a small fee increase for two of their programs beginning April 1st.

This increase is necessary in order to maintain the facility, equipment, staffing and great programming.

Spring is in the Air with Outdoor Recreation’s April Adventures

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – Join Outdoor Recreation (ODR) for a Kid’s Spring Fling Fishing day April 2nd from 10:00am to 1:00pm. We will meet at the Children’s Fishing Pond, located near Lake Taal and the ODR Skeet Range. All kids must be accompanied by an adult 18 and older. All children 15 and under do NOT need to have a fishing permit. Any person who wishes to fish with their child and is over the age of 15 MUST obtain a fishing permit from ODR prior to this trip.

All bait and fishing equipment provided on a first come first serve basis. Feel free to bring your own gear. Cost is $5.00 per person and pre-registration is not required, but strongly encouraged.  «Read the rest of this article»
