State Farm offers tips to protect Packages, Homes from Porch Pirates

 

State FarmNashville, TN – The months of July and August are amongst the top months for both family travel and home theft. Nationwide, State Farm customers have reported 74,676 theft claims. The most theft claims occurring in the months of July with 5,952 and August with 6,892.

The Clarksville Police Department has seen thefts and robberies associated with in-person transactions on the rise. 

In an effort to better serve our community and establish an area which would be safer to conduct in-person transactions, CPD is established an “Exchange Zone” at the 211 Cunningham Lane precinct.

Consumer ReportsYonkers, NY — Online shopping scored higher in almost every respect than did shopping at walk-in stores in Consumer Reports’ Annual Electronics Buying Survey. Respondents made 34 percent of electronics purchases online, which is more than double the percentage from just five years ago.
