Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office releases results from Operation Broken Hearts

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Warrants and Sexual Offender Unit with the assistance of the Austin Peay State University Police Department, the Clarksville Police Department, the United States Marshal Service, and the Diplomatic Security Service conducted Operation Broken Hearts to target subjects with recent outstanding criminal warrants.

By 5:00pm, Friday, February 15th, 2019 they had arrested 40 subjects with a total of 52 outstanding warrants (note that some warrants may have had multiple charges on them).

TBI reports Four arrested for Drugs in West Tennessee

 

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI)

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationMemphis, TN – A joint two-day investigation by Special Agents with the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Weakley County Sheriff’s Office, Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, and 27th Judicial Drug Task Force has resulted in the arrest of four men.

Based on information obtained from prior drug investigations, Agents developed additional intelligence that identified several individuals who were known by law enforcement to sell drugs in the Dyersburg area.  Four of those individuals were located and arrested Wednesday and Thursday.

Clarksville Police reports Timothy Howell in custody for robbing 81 Year Old Woman

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have identified and secured a Robbery Warrant for the man responsible for robbing an 81 year old woman in Clarksville. The police’s investigation lead to Timothy Howell being identified as the man who committed the robbery.

Howell is already in custody after being arrested for committing a robbery at Almaville Market near Smyrna on Friday, January 19th, 2018 around 7:45pm.

Timothy Howell has been identified by Clarksville Police as the man that robbed an 81 year old woman in Clarksville on December 16th, 2017.

TBI Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive David Evans arrested in Claiborne County

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationKnoxville, TN – A man who was added to the TBI’s ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list Monday is now in custody. David DeWayne Evans, Jr. was captured this afternoon.

Evans (DOB 8-19-85) was wanted by the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for Attempted Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felony Evading and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Felony.

TBI adds David Evans, Jr. of Kentucky to Top Ten Most Wanted List

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationKnoxville, TN –  The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a new addition to its ‘Top 10 Most Wanted’ list: David DeWayne Evans, Jr.

Evans (DOB 8-19-85) is wanted by the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for Attempted Second Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Felony Evading and Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Felony.

Those charges stem from two separate incidents in which Evans fired shots at Claiborne County deputies after they attempted to stop the vehicle he was driving.

Montgomery County Grand Jury Indicts Darcell Dominique Wright for Murder

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The February term of the Montgomery County Grand Jury returned indictments on Darcell Dominique Wright in connection with the November 17th, 2015, murder of Dalenzo Russell that occurred at 380 Treeland Drive.

Wright was charged with Felony Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Dangerous Felony, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
