Humphreys County Woman Indicted for Criminally Negligent Homicide for Brother’s Death

 

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested a Humphreys County, Tennessee woman for criminally negligent homicide after she was indicted by the Humphreys County Grand Jury for her role in her brother’s death last year.

Sarah Redmond, 29, of 201 Cyclone Lane, Waverly, TN was arrested yesterday in McEwen, TN and booked into the Humphreys County Jail on $2,500 bond. The District Attorney General requested TBI to investigate the death of 40-year-old Herbert Carl Redmond when he died on October 18th, 2011.

Reported Death, Severe Neck Injuries Prompt Recall of Banzai Inflatable Pool Slides Sold by Walmart and Toys R Us

 

U.S. Consumer Product Safety CommissionWashington, D. C. – In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), WalMart Stores Inc., of Bentonville, AR and Toys R Us Inc., of Wayne, NJ are announcing the recall of about 21,000 inflatable Banzai in-ground pool water slides.

During use, the slide can deflate, allowing the user to hit the ground underneath the slide and become injured. The slide is also unstable and can topple over in both still and windy conditions and carries inadequate warnings and instructions.
