Montgomery Central Batting Duo leads Lady Indians to 7-4 win over West Creek Lady Coyotes

 

Montgomery Central High SchoolCunningham, TN – The hot bats of August Rodenbaber and Rachel Nelson drove the Montgomery Central Lady Indians softball team to a 7-4 victory at home against the West Creek Lady Coyotes Wednesday, April 2nd.

Rodenbaber and Nelson combined to bring in all seven of the Lady Indians runs.

Rodenbaber went 3-for-3 at the plate, hitting 3 RBI doubles in the game. Her last double brought in two runs. Nelson batted 2-for-3 with an RBI single and an RBI triple. Her last at bat was a sac fly that brought in another run.

West Creek Softball loses 7-4 to Montgomery Central Wednesday.

Clarksville High School Volleyball advances to District 10-AAA Semifinals with win over Kenwood High School

 

Clarksville High School WildcatsKenwood High SchoolClarksville, TN – Clarksville High School’s volleyball team earned a spot in the semifinal round of the District 10-AAA Tournament, October 3rd, as they defeated Kenwood High School 3-0, by scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-14.

The Lady Wildcats (11-4) will next face the winner of the Henry County High School-West Creek High School quarterfinal match – which was also played on October 3rd.

Clarksville High School Volleyball extends win streak to 4, defeats Northwest High School 3-0

Clarksville High School WildcatsNorthwest High School VikingsClarksville, TN – The Clarksville High School varsity Lady Wildcats held their home court against the Clarksville Northwest High School varsity Lady Vikings for their fourth win in a row. The match was a clean sweep, 3-0 (25-11, 25-21, 29-27).

Clarksville High started strongly, with their claws out. They took a 10-4 lead with an early 5-0 run and did not relinquish it. They served well, serving 6 aces in the first game. They also won the battles at the net, outscoring the Clarksville Northwest Lady Vikings 10-4 in kills.
