Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers, dewy-eyed daughters and an eccentric Major-General are just a few of the characters dropping anchor at the corner of Franklin street and First street in Historic Downtown Clarksville.

The Roxy Regional School of the Arts presents Gilbert and Sullivan’s swashbuckling musical comedy “The Pirates of Penzance, Jr.” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, May 26th through June 17th.

Roxy Regional Theatre Joins Over 500 Theatre Organizations Across the Nation in The Ghostlight Project

 

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – On Thursday, January 19th, the Roxy Regional Theatre joined theatre organizations across the country in The Ghostlight Project. At 5:30pm, theatres across all time zones gathered to join in solidarity through the shared commitment to greater inclusion, participation and compassion in our theatres and our communities.
   
The inspiration for the project was the theatrical tradition of turning on a “ghostlight” at the end of the night when the theatres go dark, offering visibility and safety for all who might enter.

Roxy Regional School of the Arts now Enrolling for Fall Session that begins on Saturday, September 10th

 

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Calling all aspiring young thespians! Pre-registration is now open for the Roxy Regional Theatre’s School of the Arts.

Since 1995, the Roxy Regional Theatre has been introducing youth ages 10 to 18 to the experience of live theatre and expanding their knowledge of the craft through the School of the Arts, which has brought such productions to the main-stage as “Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.”, “Aladdin Jr.”, “101 Dalmatians Kids”, “The Jungle Book Jr.” and this season’s “Shrek The Musical Jr”.

Roxy Regional Theatre has Exciting Lineup and Changes in store for Season 34

 

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – The Roxy Regional Theatre is gearing up to celebrate 34 years of presenting live theatre in the heart of Historic Downtown Clarksville on the corner of Franklin and First.  The Roxy has long been regarded as “the cornerstone of downtown re-development,” and SEASON 34 will see new productions and exciting changes to the programming and structure of the theatre.

Ryan Bowie, longtime company member and former Director of Fundraising and Development, will take the reins as the organization’s new Executive Director.
