Clarksville Police Department announces Hands Across the Border Sobriety Roadside Safety Checkpoints and Saturation Patrol May 22nd and May 23rd

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Kentucky State Police, Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Hopkinsville Police Department and Oak Grove Police Department will be conducting roadside safety checkpoints and saturation patrols on May 22nd, 2015 and May 23rd, 2015 in Montgomery County, Tennessee and Christian County, Kentucky.

The locations of the checkpoints will be on U.S. 41-A near the state line. Saturation Patrols will be on U.S. 41-A, TN State Routes 374 and 236, KY State Routes 400, 115 and 911.

County Mayor Carolyn Bowers looks back at the last eight years and ahead at Montgomery County’s Future

Montgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers was born and raised in Clarksville-Montgomery County. She graduated from Clarksville High School, then attended Austin Peay State University where she received her Bachelor and Masters Degrees. For 29 years, she taught high school business and computer classes in the school system. It was something she enjoyed and loved to do.

Serving as Montgomery County Trustee for two terms before becoming Montgomery County Mayor gave her experience with the county budget and the revenue end. As mayor, she began working on the expenditure end as well as managing the revenues and the bonds that you sell to fund capital projects.

Clarksville City Council Regular Session Report for July 1st, 2014

 

Clarksville City Council - Ward 10Clarksville, TN – Due to the upcoming 4th of July weekend, the city council moved its regular voting session to July 1st. It was an interesting evening.

Ordinance 7 – 2014-15 (Homeless Shelter Distance)

This ordinance proposed to shrink the distance that a homeless shelter could be located from residential properties. Currently, the distance requirement is 1000 feet. Clarksville Police, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Checkpoints/Saturation Patrols and DUI Blitz Operation Statistics during 2014 Super Bowl Weekend

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Clarksville Police Department, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted checkpoints and impaired driving saturation patrols January 31st, February 1st, and February 2nd, 2014, partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

Also, the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission was involved in the DUI Blitz Operation in Montgomery County.

Clarksville Police, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducted checkpoints, saturation patrols and a DUI Operation Superbowl weekend.

Clarksville Police, Highway Patrol and Montgomery County Sheriff Sobriety Checkpoints and Saturation Patrol Statistics from November 29th-30th, 2013

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Clarksville Police Department, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office  conducted impaired driving saturation patrols November 29th-30th, 2013, partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

During this time, there were 267 charges issued.

Clarksville Police, Highway Patrol and Montgomery County Sheriff Deputies to hold Sobriety Roadside Safety Checkpoints and Saturation Patrol

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting roadside safety checkpoints and saturation patrols on November 29th, 2013 and November 30th, 2013 in Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee.

The locations of the checkpoints will be on U.S. 41-A Bypass and Kraft Street. Saturation Patrols will be on U.S. 41-A & U.S. 79, Tennessee State Routes 374, 12, 13, 48, 76 & 236.

Clarksville Police update on Friday’s Warfield Boulevard Traffic Accident

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On November 8th, 2013 at 5:01pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a crash at Warfield Boulevard (SR-374).

Ashley Seus, 24 years old, the driver of the 2008 Ford Focus, suddenly applied her breaks. Elizabeth Graves, 26 years old, the driver of the 1998 Ford Explorer, who was driving behind Ms. Seus, states that she attempted to swerve to the right to avoid colliding with Ms. Seus, but ended up striking Ms. Seus’ vehicle on the rear passenger side. «Read the rest of this article»

Clarksville Police report fatal vehicle accident on Warfield Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a fatal vehicle crash, which occurred at 4:57pm on Warfield Boulevard (TN State Route 374), near the intersection of River Run involving three separate vehicles.
