Clarksville Police reports a Black Male tried to pickup a Student near Kenwood School Complex


Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, February 6th, 2014, the Clarksville Police Department reports an elementary student was approached by a black male driving a 4-door maroon pick-up truck, while walking home from the Kenwood School Complex.

The suspicious male asked the student if she needed a ride and she told him, “no.” The suspicious male told her, “you better get in my car.” At that time, the student successfully ran away. LEAP preps students through Internet based scavenger hunt


LEAP OrganizationClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, March 2nd 2011 students from the LEAP Intern program participated in a collegiate Internet trivia based scavenger hunt. “The objective of the exercise was to familiarize students with utilizing the Internet to research college majors, requirements, fun interesting facts about various schools,” says, Tamira Cole, President of the LEAP Organization Board of Directors.
