Clarksville Christmas Parade delights thousands

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville’s 60th annual Christmas parade, hosted by the City of Clarksville and Montgomery County Government, took place Saturday, December 7th, 2019 delighting thousands as it worked its way from the Austin Peay State University campus through the streets of downtown.

Leading this year’s parade, which featured about 180 entries, was the family of the late Mike Robinson. His wife Rhonda, and children Bryce, Bayleigh and Carly, were this year’s grand marshals. A beloved local music legend and family man, Mike Robinson lost his long battle with cancer in August of 2019.

Fort Campbell’s 101st Special Troops Battalion Remember the fallen

Fort Campbell, KY – In the early morning hours, 101st Special Troops Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Soldiers and Gold Star and surviving families and friends gathered together for the Fourth Annual Gamberi and Gold Star Family Memorial Run at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, July 10th, 2015.

The run was first established in 2012 as “The Gamberi Memorial Run” to commemorate five 101st STB Soldiers who were killed during an insider attack at Forward Operating Base Gamberi, Laghman Province, Afghanistan, April 16th, 2011.

Fort Campbell to host Hero and Remembrance Run, Walk or Roll, November 1st

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – Join the Fort Campbell community on November 1st as we hold the Hero and Remembrance Run, Walk or Roll – this year’s Fort Campbell Run for the Fallen.

This commemorative 5K and 1 mile walk/run will take place at Town Center, directly across from Division Headquarters. Runners and walkers will be received at 7:00am and the opening ceremonies will begin at 8:00am. Runners will depart at 8:15am followed by the walkers at 8:30am.
