Tennessee National GuardNashville, TN – Any given Sunday you’ll find the Nashville Sounds in camouflage for Military Sunday. It’s their tribute to the impact veterans and service members have made on our country.

This Sunday, the team did more than honor service members and their families with their apparel; they made an impact on families of fallen heroes, ensuring these important legacies live on in our community and in their families.

The Nashville Sounds hosted a Veteran and Surviving Military Game on Sunday, May 18. The Sounds honored Gold Star families before the game on the field. Amber Diaz's husband, Army Cpl. Isaac Diaz, was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2004. Her son, Aaron Diaz, was only three years old when his father passed. Aaron threw out the first pitch of the game in honor of his father.
