Tennessee Department of Education announces 22 Schools Receive Tennessee STEM Designations

 

Tennessee Department of EducationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Education and the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network (TSIN) today announced 22 schools received the Tennessee STEM School Designation for 2020.

 The honor recognizes schools for their commitment to promoting and integrating STEM and/or STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) learning for all students that ultimately prepares them for post-secondary college and career success in the 21st century.

Clarksville’s Carmel Elementary School among 11 Schools to Receive Tennessee STEM School Designation

 

Tennessee Department of EducationNashville, TN – Tennessee Department of Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn announced today that Clarksville’s Carmel Elementary School was one of  11 schools to receive the Tennessee STEM School Designation, bringing the total number of STEM designated schools to 26.
