Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In Week 10 of the 2020 season the Tennessee Titans hosted the Indianapolis Colts for a Thursday Night Football matchup, the first of two meetings within a three-week span against the Colts. Tennessee lost the contest by a score of 34-17 and fell to 6-3 on the season.

The Titans opened with a touchdown on their first possession. WR Cameron Batson gave the offense good field position with a 35-yard kick return, and QB Ryan Tannehill threw first down passes to FB/RB Khari Blasingame, WR A.J. Brown and WR Corey Davis.

The Colts scored 24 consecutive points and took advantage of Titans special teams miscues to secure a 34- 17 victory. The Titans had a punt for 17 yards, a punt blocked and a missed field goal contribute to the defeat.

Tennessee Titans last game against Pittsburgh Steelers

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In Week 11 of the 2017 season, the Tennessee Titans traveled to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a primetime Thursday Night Football showdown and lost by a score of 40-17.

The Pittsburgh offense took a quick 7-0 lead as Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger led his team on a 75-yard scoring drive capped off by a 41-yard touchdown pass to Steelers WR Antonio Brown. Tennessee took the field for its first offensive possession, but on the third play of the drive QB Marcus Mariota threw a 26-yard interception to Steelers CB Mike Hilton.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Jacksonville Jaguars are the Tennessee Titans’ longest-standing division rival. The clubs have met at least twice each year since Jacksonville began play as an expansion franchise in 1995. For the first seven seasons of the rivalry they played in the AFC Central, and since 2002 they have been members of the AFC South.

The teams have met a total of 51 times, with the Titans holding a 30-21 advantage. For eight consecutive seasons (2009–2016), the Titans and Jaguars split the annual series before Tennessee took both matchups in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, the they exchanged wins once again.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In Week 3 of the 2019 season, the Tennessee Titans traveled to Jacksonville Jaguars to face the Jaguars in a primetime Thursday Night Football matchup. Despite allowing Jacksonville just 12 first downs, and yielding only two conversions on 11 third-down attempts, Tennessee lost by a score of 20-7.

On Jacksonville’s opening possession, the Tennessee defense forced the Jaguars to go three-and-out. CB Adoree’ Jackson was back deep to return the ball, but fumbled the punt and turned it over to Jacksonville at the Tennessee seven-yard line.
