Workers Die From Heat Stroke Every Summer and Every Death is Preventable

Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce DevelopmentNashville, TN – Tennessee OSHA wants Tennessee workers to be aware of the symptoms of heat stress and heat stroke as temperatures start to rise this summer. Working in the sun and heat can cause heat illness, which can be a matter of life and death.

TOSHA is planning the 2010 spring seminars


35 safety and health seminars to be offered throughout the state

Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce DevelopmentNASHVILLE – The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration has 35 upcoming safety and health training seminars at several locations throughout the state. The courses will be offered through Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry, University of Tennessee, Vol State Community College, Northeast State Community College and Walters State Community College.
