New Children’s Indoor Playland arrives in Clarksville with Grand Opening Celebration

 

Kids-N-Play hopes to help area kids “take play to a new level” and provide a fun, safe, healthy environment for children of all ages, while catering to parents and caregivers as well.

Kids-N-PlayClarksville, TN – The weather is turning chilly, and soon schools will be closed for the long winter break. Many parents are busy thinking of ways to keep their children occupied during this time of year. Just in time for the holidays, Clarksville’s newest indoor children’s entertainment center is officially opening and will host special “Grand Opening” events all weekend long – including face painting, free samples of Hunt Brothers Pizza and a raffle.

Located at 525-B Alfred Thun Road (off of Exit 4) in the space formerly occupied by Jump Zone, Kids-N-Play is a new kind of entertainment establishment for children up to age 12. Gone are the large bouncy castles and picnic tables of the old Jump Zone. Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 21st, 2011, the Young Daughters of Destiny held their 1st annual “Bowling with the Stars” at Skyline Lanes.  This was a charitable event with the proceeds going to the Youth Teen Conference that will be held September 17th, 2011. The event will be held yearly.

Clarksville Fox to have Easter Egg hunt at their april 16th game

 

Clarksville FoxClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Fox is hosting their 5th annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday April 16th at Northwest High School at 10:00am. The gates will open at 9:00am with inflatables from Go Jump for the kids of all ages to play on for FREE. We will have the team’s mascot “Trixy” there, pictures with Trixy and your family, and other fun stuff.

The Easter story will be told at 10:00am followed by the hunt itself. There will be Easter Egg Hunts for different ages as well as a special hunt for those with special needs, There will be candy, toys, Easter Eggs, special prizes in eggs, and many gifts from the sponsors of the Fox and from local businesses. This is going to be a very special day for the Fox and the Clarksville/Fort Campbell communities with the Easter Egg Hunt followed by the Fox Woman’s Full Contact Football Game Saturday evening at 7:00am.

Clarksville Fox to face the Memphis Belles Tomorrow

 

The 2-0 Clarksville Fox are off to a great start as they host the 1-1 Memphis Belles in the football stadium at Northwest High School (800 Lafayette Rd) this Saturday at 7:00 pm. The Fox plan on winning this game on their way to an undefeated season, and to return to the playoffs and the national championship this year. But the players need your support and to hear your cheers at every home game to make this happen!

Gates open up at 6:00 pm. Bring your family, friends, and BBQ out early and tailgate party.  The Fox Players, Coaches, Staff, and team mascot “Trixy” look forward to seeing you there.

Tickets are reduced this year to only $8.00 with children 5 and under are admitted FREE. The gates open at 6:00pm and there will be concessions for everyone, and women’s semi-pro full contact football!

The Clarksville Fox hosts the Iowa Crush Saturday

 

clarksville-fox-trixieThe Clarksville Fox women’s semi-pro full contact football team will host the Iowa Crush on Saturday, June 13th at 7p.m. The Foxes are just coming off a 12-0 shutout win in an away game against the Louisville Knightmare last week.  All Fox home games are held at Northwest High School  (800 Lafayette Road)

This will be the last game of their 2009 season.

Clarksville Fox to kick off 2009 season

 

The Independent Women’s Football League’s Division and Conference Champions, the Clarksville Fox, will take on the Tennessee Valley Tigers in a pre-season game March 28th at Northwest High School located at 800 Lafayette Road in Clarksville. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. with a kick off time of 7:00 p.m.

Come early and enjoy BBQ’s and tailgating in the parking lot, but remember no alcohol is allowed on school premises.
