Clarksville Police receive Suspicious Activity Call, arrest Robbery Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, August 15th, 2019, Clarksville Police responded to a suspicious activity call around 10:00am at 2740 Trenton Road lead to the arrest of, Marcus Parker, that had robbed two businesses several hours earlier, threatening the clerks by displaying a firearm.

The businesses were located in the 2600 block of Trenton Road and the 2600 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard with the robberies taking place around 12:30am and 3:00am respectively.

Clarksville Police respond to Prowler Call, Net Two Stolen Guns

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responding to a call of a prowler in the area of Starlight Lounge, 1304 Fort Campbell Boulevard, came in contact with two individuals both in possession of stolen firearms and some marijuana.

On Monday, March 18th, 2019 around 3:00am Clarksville Police Officers, while officers were looking for prowlers, saw a man climbing a fence and shortly thereafter pointing a rifle toward the Starlight Lounge.

Clarksville Police Turn up the Heat in Search for Homicide Suspects Marques Kelly, Vincent Merriweather

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department has turned up the heat in their search for two homicide suspects. Their latest quest for Marques Lamarr “Cheez” Kelly and one of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s TBI Top Ten Most Wanted, Vincent Bryan “Rabbit” Merriweather, who both have Criminal Homicide warrants, led officers to Bamburg Drive.

Clarksville Police have been following several leads to locate the homicide suspects. On Friday, December 14th, 2018, the investigation took officers to Bamburg Drive where a search warrant was executed.

Clarksville Police say Kenneth Woods served with Aggravated Robbery Warrant while in Jail

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Sunday, November 4th, 2018, around 4:40am, Clarksville Police report Kenneth Kenta Woods was booked into the Montgomery County Jail for Aggravated Robbery, Resisting, and Unlawful Carrying or Possession of a Firearm.

The Aggravated Robbery charge stemmed from Woods’ involvement during a drug transaction in September 2018 where multiple people were robbed, including the drug dealer.

Clarksville Police make arrests for shots fired on Jockey Drive

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Saturday, February 13th, 2016, at 3:36am, Clarksville Police investigated a report of gunshots on Jockey Drive. Officers discovered four men in a nearby vehicle with two pistols and a rifle in plain view inside the car. A police canine search located a third pistol in a nearby field.

Bullet casings recovered at the scene matched the calibers of the weapons found inside the vehicle. Nearby cars and at least one apartment door were discovered to have bullet holes.

Cordarius Stinner, Javeon Davis, Ian Granger and Diamonte Scott arrested in Clarksville for shooting on Jockey Drive. «Read the rest of this article»
