Clarksville Police warn Business Owners with Shipping Containers to Beware

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that thieves broke into a shipping container at the 2100 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 around 2:00am and stole four Samsung front-load washers valued at approximately $3,000.

The unidentified suspects broke into several of the containers before they found one with the new washers inside. The suspects were driving a black older model pickup, possibly with a missing tailgate, and loaded the appliances in the back.

CR survey reveals some consumers willing to pay more for speed

Consumer ReportsYonkers, NY – Time is a precious commodity—so much so, it seems, that Americans are willing to spend a little more on faster household appliances, according to a recent Consumer Reports survey of more than 4,000 readers.

The survey found that about one-quarter of dishwasher, washer, and dryer owners said they’d pay extra for speedier appliances, and about one-third of that group said they would pay an extra $100.00 or more.
