Clarksville Parks and Recreation to take part in Summer Food Service Program

 

Meals to be served at Summer Youth Program sites

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation is participating in the Summer Food Service Program throughout the duration of the City’s Summer Youth Program.

At 14 of the 15 program sites (all sites excluding Crow Recreation Center) meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service (not all prohibited bases apply to all programs).

Clarksville Police reports Single-Vehicle Incident on West Creek School Grounds

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, December 28th, 2016 at 3:59pm, Clarksville Police Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle traffic incident that occurred on West Creek School Grounds located at the 1200 block of West Creek Coyote Trail.

A 15-year-old female was injured from the incident with life-threatening injuries. She was transported by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

LEAP Charity 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

 

LEAP OrganizationClarksville, TN – LEAP cordially invites the community to join them for a Charity 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament on March 15th, 2014 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at West Creek High School located at 1210 West Creek Coyote Trail.

This full day of exciting hardwood action is both recreational and competitive as team’s battle on the court for trophies, prizes, and bragging rights.

The real drive at the Charity Tournament is not the basketball itself, but rather to help LEAP serve the needs of children who are living in our community.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation to hold Friends of the Blueway meeting and public review for the Blueway project

 

Clarksville BluewayClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will hold the review of the Bobby Clark Blueway Access and Natural Area Park Development on Tuesday, November 13th. The meeting will be held at 5:30pm at West Creek Elementary School, located at 1201 West Creek Coyote Trail.

36 School Buses Vandalized Overnight

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On May 13th, 2011, around 6:00am, Police responded to the School Bus Complex, 1210 West Creek Coyote Trail in reference to 36 school buses which had been vandalized during the overnight hours. The buses had been sprayed painted with various phrases, vulgarity, and pictures. 

There did not appear to be any forced entry used to enter the complex.
