Clarksville Police are searching for missing person Ricky Fletcher

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking for assistance locating Ricky Fletcher who left Billy Dunlop Park, 1930 East Boy Scout Road between 6:00pm and 7:00pm on a Inner Tube type flotation device.

He was at the park with a group of friends and then joined another group as they game by floating down the river. He was separated from the group a short time later and continued down the waterway and has not been seen or heard from since.

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Emergency Management has received many calls from concerned citizens about the rising West Fork Creek.

For those with homes located near and along West Fork Creek that are concerned about rising water levels, there is no current method to predict any forthcoming water level increases or when it will begin receding.

Recent rain and storms fell on an already saturated ground creating heavy run off and flooding.

CPD needs help identifying deceased person found near West Fork bridge

 

clarksvillepolicelogoWe need the public’s assistance to help identify the deceased male that was found on June 25, 2009 at approximately 7:32 p.m. in the water near the West Fork Bridge off of the 101st Parkway. His description is:

  • White male
  • Between 20-50 years of age
  • 5’6″ tall
  • Approximately 200-215 pounds
  • Wearing blue jeans and a white or gray pullover type shirt and also grayish colored sweatshirt
  • Black Slip-on boots (above the ankle)
  • Black hair
  • No scars/marks/tattoos

Deceased person found near West Fork Bridge

 
clarksvillepolicelogoOn June 25, 2009 at approximately 7:32 p.m., a fisherman found a deceased person in the water near the West Fork Bridge off of the 101st Parkway.  The person is believed to be male.  Clarksville Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death as a homicide; this is normal procedure in the case of an unattended death.
