Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The city of Clarksville invited you to enjoy the Indoor Aquatic Center and their Toddler Splash.

Don’t miss the next Toddler Splash Pool Party on Wednesday, November 6th.  This monthly event for children ages 5-years-old and younger, takes place on the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Indoor Aquatic Center, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.

Fort Defiance to host Civil War Summer Camp

 

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The Fort Defiance Interpretive Center, located at 120 Duncan Street, is proud to host the City’s first Civil War Summer Camp for youth in the 5th and 6th grades.

The Civil War Summer Camp, instructed by Karel Biggs, focuses on the American Civil War.  Students will learn more about the people, events, vocabulary, songs, food, drills, clothing and flags associated with the War.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Hershey Track & Field program coming soon

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation LogoClarksville, TN – The Hershey Track & Field program, presented by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will begin April 18th, competition to be held May 18th.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation offers new programs for area youth

 

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks & Recreation hosts two programs at all the Burt-Cobb and Crow community centers in to reach help mentor and aide middle school and high school-aged members of the community.

The Burt-Cobb Community Center is home to the Dream Chasers Group Mentoring Program each Tuesday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Dream Chasers is focused on helping at-risk youth, ages 13-17 in a small group atmosphere.
