Clarksville Police reports Motorcycle Crash Sends One to Hospital

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On December 2nd, 2017 around 4:02pm, Clarksville Police reports a 2011 GMC Terrain, driven by a female in her 60s was southbound in the left turn only lane on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

She was turning left into a business at 1767 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and did not yield to a motorcycle traveling north on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Clarksville Police respond to Motorcycle Crash at Providence Boulevard and Beech Street

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Sunday, September 3rd, 2017, around 5:32pm, a Ford Mustang driven by a 41 old female was traveling east on Providence Boulevard when a Yamaha VTC motorcycle, ridden by a 50 old male was traveling south on Beech Street and did not stop at the red light at the intersection of Beech Street and Providence Boulevard.

The Ford Mustang collided with the motorcycle.

Clarksville Police seek assistance identifying Motorcycle Theft Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department District 1 Criminal Investigations Unit is trying to identify a suspect involved in a Motorcycle Theft and is requesting public assistance.

In the early morning hours of November 6th, 2016, a 2006 Yamaha R6 motorcycle, orange in color, was stolen from an apartment complex on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Clarksville Police Department makes Public Aware of current Motorcycle Theft Crimes

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On April 28th, 2015 the Clarksville Police Department sent out a release with detailed information about Motorcycle Theft Crime Trends that was put together by Detective Raymon Carroll. Our intent was to raise awareness to motorcycle owners since it is summer time- when most motorcycle thefts take place.

Recently, three motorcycles were stolen from local apartment complexes. All three motorcycles were categorized as Sport Bikes.

Clarksville Police Department releases name of Motorcyclist killed on Swift Drive

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On July 15th, 2012, around 1:37pm, a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle traveling on Swift Drive ran off the road, crashing, killing the rider. The Clarksville Police Department released the name of the motorcyclist today.

The man killed on the motorcycle is Joseph Allen Weyand, 42, of Clarksville, TN. There is no additional information at this time.

Clarksville Police report Motorcyclist killed on Swift Drive this afternoon

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On July 15th, 2012, around 1:37pm, a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle ridden by a 42 year old male was traveling north on Swift Drive after turning right off of McGraw Street.

According to a witness the rider accelerated on Swift Drive, leaned to negotiate a curve, lost control, went off the right side of the paved roadway into a yard at 957 Swift Drive, hit a cement culvert, causing the rider and motorcycle to go airborne.

The rider died at the scene. The lead investigator is Officer Evon Parkes.
