APSU Women's VolleyballClarksville, TN – Senior Cecily Gable posted a 14-kill, 14-dig double-double effort and the Austin Peay State University (APSU) volleyball team overcame an opening-set loss to post a four-set victory (22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-15) against Jacksonville State, in the Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championships semifinal round, Friday night at the Winfield Dunn Center.

The outbreak in Tennessee most heavily affects Nashville and Chattanooga.

APSU Men’s Basketball comes from behind to beat Central Connecticut, 80-78

APSU Men's BasketballMontego Bay, Jamaica – It’s been four games, but Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team has already been through a season’s worth of intrigue and suspense, the latest in a heart-stopping 80-78 win against Central Connecticut to kick off the island portion of the 2018 Jamaica Classic at the Montego Bay Convention Center.

The Govs evened their record at 2-2 on the season after erasing a nine-point first half deficit, while Central Connecticut falls to 2-2 on its season.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Coming off a marquee win over No. 11 Kentucky last Saturday, Tennessee will look to win its third straight and become bowl eligible this Saturday as Missouri visits Neyland Stadium.

Kickoff for UT’s final home game of 2018 is set for 2:30pm CT on CBS. Brad Nessler (play-by-play) and Gary Danielson (analyst) will have the call with Jamie Erdahl reporting from the sidelines. Vol Network radio affiliates will have a live audio broadcast with Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Brent Hubbs. Sirius (Channel 94) and XM satellite radio (Channel 192) will also carry the game.

Saturday will also be Senior Day for the Vols as they will honor their 13 seniors prior to kickoff.

On Sunday, November 11th, 2018 around 8:30am Jordan was supposed to be at work at a Riverside Drive business, but it was discovered later in the day that she never showed up.

Seniors Kristen Stucker and Cecily Gable were among seven student-athletes recognized in District 3 which includes Division I programs in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

AAA says Oil, Gas Prices Plunging, Down 19 Cents in 31 Days

AAANashville, TN Fuel prices are plunging. Crude oil dove to 8-month lows last week, which means the slump at the pump should continue. 

Tennessee motorists have seen gas prices decline 19 cents in the past 31 days. Sunday’s state average of $2.50 is 5 cents less than a week ago, and the lowest since April 12th. Despite the recent discount, the average Tennesseean is still paying 16 cents per gallon more than this time last year.
