City of Clarksville Opioid Task Force to merge with Allies For Substance Abuse Prevention of Montgomery County

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – The Mayor’s Opioid Task Force, a group formed last year to to help the City of Clarksville develop a coordinated local response to the opioid crisis, will merge into a larger countywide group, Allies For Substance Abuse Prevention of Montgomery County, or ASAP.

“This is a broad problem that affects our entire community, so we think it’s best to merge forces and create the broadest possible group to battle the opioid crisis and other substance abuse issues,” Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts said.

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – On Saturday, September 6th, bring your entire Family to Sportsman’s Lodge, just outside Gate 10, to participate in the 3rd Annual Fort Campbell Wellness Walk. It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy a Family hike around the wooded trails of Outdoor Recreation.

The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) and MWR have teamed up to offer this free Family event, complete with inflatables, face painters, and children’s activities.

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – As the seasons start to change, there is nothing more special than having a Family hike in the lush Tennessee and Kentucky woods. On Saturday, September 29th, bring your Family to Sportsman’s Lodge, just outside Gate 10, to experience the free Volksmarch Wellness Walk.
