The homers came off former Sound R.J. Alvarez and turned a 5-3 deficit into a 6-5 lead. Pill’s homer was his first as a Sound and led off the ninth. Then Wisdom crushed the first pitch he saw over the left field wall to tie the game at 5-5. New Orleans broke a 2-2 tie with single tallies in the sixth and seventh innings to help win game one of the four-game series.
