Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department held a retirement ceremony Friday morning, December 22nd, 2017 for Officer Bob Peterson.

What a great and joyous day for Bob Peterson’s retirement. But, he will be GREATLY missed.

Bob always had a smile and willing to lend a hand.

Clarksville Police reports Gravel Truck Overturns on North Second Street

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, Wednesday, May 5th, 2017, around 1:45pm, a dump truck overturned near the intersection of North Second Street and Riverside Drive causing traffic to back up at the busy intersection.  

An International dump truck, driven by a 53 year old man, was traveling east on North Second Street in the right hand turn lane and, for an unknown reason, started swerving left.

Clarksville Police report Head-on Traffic Collision on Riverside Drive

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Today, May 26th, 2015 at 12:56pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a head-on traffic collision on Riverside Drive in front of the Wendy’s restaurant near the intersection of Spring Street. There were six injured individuals.

All of the injured individuals appeared to have non-life-threatening injuries. Five of the injured individuals were transported by EMS to Gateway Medical Center. One injured individual was transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Multiple Car Crash sends two to the Hospital

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Around 11:53am, a driver that failed to stop collided with the rear of one vehicle forcing it into the vehicle in front of it.

Traffic was backed up and stopped southbound in the area of Brookside Drive and Fort Campbell Blvd. when a GEO Metro, driven by Jonathan Rivera, 19 in the left southbound lane crashed into the rear of a Ford Explorer driven by Donald Leaser, 59 forcing it to crash into the rear of a GMC Envoy, driven by Jodi Vaughn, 50.

Clarksville Police Department is Awarded First Place

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentThe Clarksville Police Department received first place in The Tennessee Department of Transportation Governor’s Highway Safety Office’s 6th Annual Law Enforcement Challenge. September 10th. The Police Department was in the 201-500 Officer category. 

“The Law Enforcement Challenge recognizes outstanding performances by law enforcement agencies and officers from across the state,” said Governor Phil Bredesen. “These dedicated public servants work diligently for the good of their communities and deserve this recognition both by the state and nationally.”
