Land Between the Lakes, KY/TN – Woodlands Nature Station will have our annual Wildlife Celebration, Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday through Monday, May 27th-29th, 2017. Nature Station admission is $5.00 age 13 and up, $3.00 age 5-12, and free for ages 4 and under.
Guests can learn all about nature’s superheroes, visit with Smokey Bear and find ways they can assist wildlife in the Nature Station’s backyard at Land Between the Lakes. Special event programs are included with standard admission unless otherwise noted.
Office of Land Between the Lakes, KY/TN – On Saturday, June 13th, in honor of National Get Outdoors Day, Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area will waive admission fees to Woodlands Nature Station. The Nature Station opens at 10am and closes at 5:00pm.
Visitors can experience the native gardens and learn about the rescued animals in the Nature Station’s backyard.
Fort Campbell, KY – MWR’s Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs is offering some exciting activities in October!
Open Climb: October 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. For ages 5 and up. The cost is $10.00 per person, per date and includes equipment and instruction. Open climbs are available to everyone no matter their skill level or experience.
Registration deadline is 4:00pm on the day of the event.
Golden Pond, KY – Land Between The Lakes hosts Nature’s Most Extreme Weekend at Nature Station on Saturday, August 30th through Monday, September 1st.
The public is invited to visit with Smokey Bear, take a canoe trip, cheer on the turtles at Turtle Talladega, try a fun scavenger hunt, and experience “extreme” animals up-close!

Duck River Kayak: August 2nd from 8:00am to 6:00pm. For ages 10 and up. The cost is $25.00 per person per trip (includes transportation and equipment). Rough and Tough Hiking Tour to Virgin Falls, April 12th from 7:00am to 6:00pm. For ages 12 and up. The cost is $30.00 and this includes your transportation. This is the second of a series of hikes designed to get adventurous souls out into some of the most wild and beautiful country in this area. These are strenuous hikes over rough terrain. Fort Campbell, KY – Join Outdoor Recreation Adventure Programs for some great activities this month. They’ll start the month off with an Open Climb at their brand new indoor climbing wall on September 4th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Ages 12 and up may participate and the cost is $10.00 which includes all of your equipment.
