Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports that two thieves recently lost a truck while trying to steal a trailer in South Clarksville. On Thursday morning, June 21st, 2018, two people in a black 1995 GMC Sonoma attempted to steal a two-axle trailer from a residence on Cherokee Trail about 7:45am.
A security camera recorded the theft and the white male passenger who connected the trailer to the truck; the driver did not get out of the vehicle.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Tanglewood Drive from Cherokee Trail to Eastern Hills Drive to repair the water main.
The work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 2:00pm.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned an extended water outage on Saturday, May 6th, at 11:00pm on Madison Street for water valve replacement work, if weather permits.
Residents and businesses along Madison Street from Liberty Parkway to Golf Club Lane at the Madison Street and Memorial Drive intersection will be affected by the water outage. Tanglewood Drive, Cherokee Trail and the Eastern Hills Drive areas will also be affected by the outage.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Cherokee Trail from Eastern Hills Drive to Audubon Woods Road to replace a fire hydrant. There may be periods of low water pressure for area residents during the work
The hydrant replacement work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 12:00pm.
The road is open to traffic.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water will turn off water service in the in the Eastern Hills subdivision until approximately 11:30am for water valve maintenance. The outage will affect Eastern Hills Drive, Tanglewood Drive and Cherokee Trail.
The roads are open to traffic.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water has closed Audubon Woods Road and a section of Eastern Hills Drive to Cherokee Trail to repair a six-inch water main leak. Area residents may experience low water pressure or possibly periods of water loss during the repair work.
Construction crews anticipate the repair to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 3:30pm.
Clarksville, TN – As of 11:00am, fewer than 500 customers are without power.
The Eastern Hills area has been restored. Addresses include; Audubon Woods, Cherokee Trail, Merritt Drive, Haynes Street.
Another important note: This morning, we received a call from a family on Evans Road who had medical equipment that requires power. We already had 6 crews in that area and were able to respond quickly.
We encourage any customers who have emergency needs to call us. Our crews are doing everything they can to restore power to everyone, but we do prioritize these types of situations, when at all possible.
