Quick, a 6-0, 170-pound right-handed pitcher, is currently at Rend Lake (IL) College. He prepped at Mt. Vernon Township High School where he played shortstop and pitched. He compiled a 4.06 ERA with 22 strikeouts in 20.2 innings pitched, mostly as a reliever. At the plate, Quick batted .346 with a .467 on-base percentage added by 24 walks. He also had five triples and 12 stolen bases during his senior campaign. Bat Govs begin fall signing period with two Columbia State additionsAPSU Men’s Baseball
Delgado, a 5-11, 175-pound right-hander, posted a 4-3 mark last season at Columbia State, finishing with a 3.30 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 60 innings. He prepped at Miami’s Palmetto High School where he compiled a 16-3 career record with a 1.49 ERA and 157 strikeouts in 140 innings pitched. He was a second-team All-Florida selection as a senior after earning third-team all-state honors as a junior.
