OVC announces Fall Sport Competitions, Championships Postponed

 

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsBrentwood, TN – The Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Board of Presidents has announced fall competition and championships in the sports of football, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s soccer and women’s volleyball will be postponed due to the concerns and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

The decision also includes the fall competitive schedules for men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis as well as the non-traditional competition seasons for baseball and softball.

Austin Peay State University names Marquase Lovings interim head football coach for 2020 season

 

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, July 7th, 2020, Austin Peay State University (APSU) Director of Athletics Gerald Harrison named Marquase Lovings as the Governors’ interim head football coach for the upcoming 2020 season.

The move follows the resignation of Mark Hudspeth, Friday, for personal reasons.
