Nashville, TN – In Week 7 of the 2017 season, the Tennessee Titans traveled to Cleveland to take on the Browns and won in overtime by a score of 12-9.
On the Titans opening drive, the first snap was an 18-yard completion from QB Marcus Mariota to WR Rishard Matthews. Tennessee moved the ball efficiently, but was forced to settle for a 43-yard field goal by K Ryan Succop to take an early 3-0 lead. The Titan defense forced Cleveland to go three-and-out on its first two possessions.

The contest marks the second season opener in franchise history against the Browns. The only other time it happened was a Browns win in Cleveland in 1971.

The event, including soccer and city dignitaries as well as representatives and head coaches from the qualified nations, took place at Levi’s Stadium, host venue of the Gold Cup final, to be played on July 26th, 2017.
Nashville, TN – Cleveland Browns wide receiver Travis Benjamin scored three touchdowns, including a late 50-yard touchdown reception to seal a 28-14 win over the Tennessee Titans at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Benjamin’s three touchdowns all went for at least 50 yards—two on pass receptions and one on a punt return. His game totals included 115 yards on three catches and 154 yards on six punt returns.
In a battle of former Heisman Trophy winners, Cleveland quarterback Johnny Manziel completed eight of his 15 passes for 172 yards and did not throw an interception.
Nashville, TN – This week’s game marks the 65th all-time meeting in the regular season between the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns. In the previous 64 outings, the Browns own a 35-29 advantage, including separate nine- and six-game winning streaks by the Browns.
The Titans’ nine-game losing streak against the Browns from 1970-74 is tied for the longest in franchise history (Oakland, 1966-73).
Additionally, the clubs have played one playoff game, a 24-23 Wild Card win by the Oilers in 1988.

A win this week would give the Titans a 2-0 start to the regular season for the first time since 2008, and it would mark only the second time in franchise history the Titans won back-to-back road games in Weeks 1 and 2 (1981).
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans romped all over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday on their way to a 42-14 victory. The Titans could not have asked for a better start to the 2015 season.
The game received a lot of hype as it featured the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft Jameis Winston, with the Bucs, against the No. 2 overall pick Marcus Mariota with the Titans. The game was lopsided from the start.
