The largest gathering in First Tennessee Park history saw the Dodgers plate a pair of runs with two outs in the top of the ninth after a costly Nashville error. With two outs in the ninth, and the Sounds (40-43) leading 5-4, Drew Maggi hit a bouncer to third that Yairo Muñoz fielded and fired to first base. The Sounds jumped out to an early lead as Semien, with the team on a rehab assignment from Oakland, scampered home on a wild pitch from Dodgers starter Scott Barlow. Nashville doubled its lead the next inning. Beau Taylor roped a double down the right field line and came home to score when Yairo Munoz lined a pitch back up the middle into center field. In the top of the fourth inning Oklahoma City cut the lead in half. Nashville Sounds rally late to take Game Three from Oklahoma City Dodgers
With the come-from-behind win, Nashville took control of the best-of-five American Conference Finals with a 2-1 lead. The Sounds have an opportunity to clinch a trip to the Pacific Coast League Championship Series with a win in game four Saturday night at First Tennessee Park. The homers backed a strong performance by Dodgers’ starter Logan Bawcom who limited the Sounds to one run on three hits in six innings.
