Austin, TX – The No. 13/15 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (16-7, 9-4 SEC) remains perfect in NCAA Tournament participation, earning the program’s 39th-straight invitation to the “Big Dance.” UT is the only school to appear in every women’s tourney.
The UT Lady Vols were selected as a No. 3 seed in the River Walk Region and will meet No. 14 seed Middle Tennessee (17-7) in the NCAA First Round on Sunday. Tip-off is slated for 2:00pm ET (1:00pm CT) at the Frank Erwin Center on the University of Texas campus. The game will be televised by ABC and carried by the Lady Vol Radio Network.

Knoxville, TN – No. 25/RV Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team (17-6, 7-3 SEC) and RV/RV LSU (17-5, 7-3 SEC) will meet for the second time this season, as they face off Thursday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center in Baton Rouge, LA, at 6:32pm CT (7:32pm ET).
This will mark the 67th meeting in a series that began in 1977, with Tennessee leading 51-15 after the Lady Vols defeated the Tigers, 63-58, in Knoxville earlier this season on January 26th.
UT and LSU enter the game tied for third in the Southeastern Conference standings at 7-3, and the winner will take sole possession of the three spot.

Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team, which is receiving votes in the AP and USA Today Coaches Polls, opens the 2019-20 regular-season schedule on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 as the Lady Vols take on East Tennessee at Freedom Hall in Johnson City at 6:00pm CT.
The match-up marks the regular-season debut of Kellie Harper as UT’s head coach. She will attempt to become the first coach to win in her Lady Vol debut since Margaret Hutson beat MTSU at home on January 15th, 1971. The last time a Tennessee women’s basketball coach was victorious in her debut game on the road was Mabel Miller, who directed her Big Orange troops to glory against Cumberland (KY) on March 10th, 1922.
Clarksville, TN – With the Ohio Valley Conference Football Media Day taking place in Nashville, TN, July 22nd it marks the unofficial start of fall sports for Austin Peay State University (APSU).
Along with the football team, men’s and women’s cross country, soccer and volleyball will be starting their 2019 season’s over the next month, or so, while baseball softball, men’s and women’s tennis and men’s and women’s golf will be seeing action during their non-traditional season’s during the fall semester.

Knoxville, TN – Tennessee Vols Football will open its 2018 campaign on Saturday, September 1st, 2018 against No. 17/20 West Virginia in the Belk College Kickoff Game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.
Kickoff for Saturday’s season opener is slated for 2:30pm CT on CBS with Brad Nessler (play-by-play) and Gary Danielson (analyst) calling the action in the booth and Jamie Erdahl reporting from the sidelines. Vol Network radio affiliates will have a live audio broadcast with Bob Kesling, Tim Priest and Brent Hubbs. Sirius and XM satellite radio will also carry the game on Channel 201.
#22 Tennessee Vols at Iowa State

Ames, IA – For the first time since 1977, No. 22 Tennessee and Iowa State will meet on the hardwood this Saturday at Hilton Coliseum as part of ESPN’s Big 12/SEC Challenge. The game will tip at 3:00pm CT and will be televised live on ESPNU and streamed online via WatchESPN.
In its fifth year, UT holds a 2-1 record when competing in the cross-conference showcase, with both victories coming at home over Kansas State. Last year, the Vols (14-5) downed the Wildcats, 70-58, behind a 17-point performance from Grant Williams.

Winston-Salem, NC – The 21st-ranked Tennessee Volunteers hit the road again this weekend to face off against another ACC foe in Wake Forest at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The game will tip at 12:30pm and will be televised live on ESPN2 and streamed online via WatchESPN.
Tennessee (8-2) enters the matchup with a pair of victories over teams from the ACC (NC State, 67-58, and Georgia Tech, 77-70) already this season. UT fell to No. 7 North Carolina in a hard-fought battle in Thompson-Boling Arena last Sunday, marking the Vols’ first home loss of the year. On Wednesday, Tennessee bounced back to hold off a Furman team riding a five-game winning streak, 66-61.

Knoxville, TN – For the first time since 2010, a pair of AP Top-25 Teams will clash in Thompson-Boling Arena this Sunday, as the 20th-ranked Volunteers host No. 7 North Carolina. The game will tip at 2:00pm CT and will be televised live on ESPN and streamed online via WatchESPN.
Tennessee announced plans earlier in the week to “checker” Thompson-Boling Arena for next Sunday’s highly anticipated game against the defending national champion Tar Heels.
Fans planning to attend the sold-out showdown, which tips off at 2:00pm CT on ESPN, are encouraged to visit CheckerTBA.com to learn whether their seats are in a section designated to wear orange or white.
