Clarksville’s Jammin in the Alley Concert Series returns June 1st

 

Nightmasters kick off free downtown concert series

Jammin in the AlleyClarksville, TN – Jammin’ in the Alley, a free concert series on Strawberry Alley in the heart of downtown Clarksville, returns for another year of concerts and family fun.

The first concert will be from 7:00pm-10:00pm Friday, June 1st, 2018 with a performance by Nightmasters, a popular local blues-rock band.

Jammin in the Alley closes 2016 Season with a Bang

 

Jammin in the AlleyClarksville, TN – From the main stage to City Hall, Strawberry Alley was packed Friday night, August 12th, for the last Jammin in the Alley of the 2016 season. There was 800 plus people in Downtown Clarksville enjoying the music and festivities.

Things were a little bit different Friday night. There was an opening band, Life in Technicolor that went on at 6:00pm and then the Nightmasters took the stage at 7:00pm.

Hilltop Supermarket’s “Karing for Kenai” Spring Festival a huge success

 

Hilltop SupermarketClarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 9th, Hilltop Supermarket held a Spring Festival event, “Karing for Kenai”. The event was a fundraiser for Kenai Payes Langley who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

Kenai is a beautiful 13 year-old-young lady who lives in Clarksville, TN, with her mother and older sister, Hailey. Kenai is battling Stage 3 Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma Cancer. She has 8 tumors in the surrounding areas of her reproductive system.

The 2012 Rivers and Spires Festival Continues Today!

 

Rivers and Spires Festiveal 2012 - 10 yearsClarksville, TN – It’s hard to believe another year has passed and we are ready up for the 10th annual Rivers and Spires Festival, April 19th-21st. As usual there will be tons of free concerts, entertainment and activities. But, because it is our birthday, and we think a big one, the Festival has a few surprises up its sleeve, but you’ll have to come out and see!

If you’ve never been to the Rivers & Spires Festival or are new to town, put it on your calendar and get ready to have a great time. Lined with craft and food vendors, six music stages, kids’ activities and artisan booths, Historic Downtown transforms each year as the festival goes into full swing. Music is a big part of the event, with at least two artists on one of the many stages at any given time. But it doesn’t stop at just music. Christmas on the Cumberland to open November 23rd

 

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville’s Christmas on the Cumberland is sure to create lasting memories this holiday season as thousands experience the captivating displays of over one million lights! Join the City of Clarksville and US Bank as we celebrate Christmas on the Cumberland’s 12th year with a grand opening ceremony, November 23rd at 6:30pm at McGregor Park RiverWalk.

The grand opening will feature the official lighting of the Cumberland by Mayor Johnny Piper along with special guests, Kris Kringle, Channel 4 News Snowbird, and the jolly old man himself- Santa Claus! Enjoy holiday entertainment by Short Notice, the multi-tasking, multi-talented band featuring Sam Haines-vocals and lead guitar, Adam Lee-drums, Charles Lee-vocals and guitar, Chet Lee-bass guitar and Lynne Yarbrough-vocals.
