Nashville Zoo’s Red, White and Zoo Wine Event happens this Friday

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Nashville Zoo invites wine lovers to Red, White and Zoo on Friday, July 27th at 7:00pm. The social event takes patrons on an evening stroll through parts of the Zoo as they enjoy unlimited wine tastings from around the world.

The Zoo’s Andean bear, Caribbean flamingo, meerkat exhibit and more will all be open until sundown with keepers available to answer guests’ questions.

Other activities for the evening include live music, special animal encounters and food available for purchase through local vendors.

Nashville Zoo’s Zoovie Night to show Shrek this Friday

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Nashville Zoo’s family movie night series, Zoovies, presented by Southern ICEE, continues with the Friday, August 18th, 2017 screening of Shrek.

Zoovie Night, presented by Southern ICEE, takes place after the Zoo closes at 6:00pm.

Guests can enjoy fun activities on Festival Field including inflatables, games, face painters and rides on the Wild Animal Carousel and Soaring Eagle zip line before the evening’s movie plays on a giant inflatable screen.

Southern Icee Presents Friday Night Movies at the Nashville Zoo

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Nashville Zoo’s outdoor movie series, Zoovies, kicks off Friday, May 27th. Guests can pack a picnic, put down a blanket and enjoy Minions as the sun goes down.

Zoovies, presented by Southern Icee, takes place after the Zoo closes at 6:00pm. Guests can enjoy fun activities on Festival Field including inflatables, games, face painters and rides on the Wild Animal Carousel and Soaring Eagle zip line before the evening’s movie plays on a giant inflatable screen.

Zoovies are included with Zoo admission or membership. For non-members arriving after the Zoo closes at 6:00pm, the cost is $6.00. Wild Animal Carousel, Soaring Eagle and face painting are additional fees.

Nashville Zoo to hold “Brew at the Zoo” June 3rd

 

Presented by M.L. Rose Craft Beer & Burgers

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – Animals, entertainment, local food trucks and over 100 craft beers are all on tap for the fifth annual Brew at the Zoo set for Friday, June 3rd from 6:30pm to 11:00pm.

Brew at the Zoo guests wander the Zoo trail while sampling beer from more than 40 craft breweries from around the country. Many of the Zoo’s animal exhibits will be open until sundown with keepers available to answer guests’ questions.

Other available activities include rides on the Wild Animal Carousel and the new Soaring Eagle zip line, dinner from food truck favorites, live music and special animal encounters.

Nashville Zoo introduces the Soaring Eagle zip line experience

 

Nashville ZooNashville, TN – See Nashville Zoo from a new perspective on Soaring Eagle, the Zoo’s newest zip line experience officially opening on Friday, March 18th. The two-seated thrill adventure takes riders on a tree-top trek to see giraffes, zebra, the downtown skyline and much more from 110 ft. in the air.

“Soaring Eagle is the latest design of zip line rides and unlike anything else in Nashville,” said Rick Schwartz, Nashville Zoo president. “We are excited to offer a completely different component to the Zoo visiting experience.”
