Clarksville Police release update on Suspicious Package on Killington Drive

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that after the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s bomb squad arrived, a decision was made for THP to approach the package wearing protective gear.

It was discovered after opening the package that it was a kit for building a dresser and had mistakenly been shipped to the Killington Drive address.

The scene was cleared around 12:30am.

Clarksville Police and the Tennessee Highway Patrol open the suspicious package and everything is ok.

Clarksville Police dispatched to Killington Drive for Suspicious Package

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that Tuesday Night, July 10th, 2018 shortly after 8:00pm a man at 2272 Killington Drive found a large package from Amazon in his driveway, delivered by UPS.  The package had his name on it.  

When he picked the package up, he thought he heard ticking and strange noises.  He set the package down at the end of his driveway and call 911.

Clarksville Police report Suspicious Package found

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, September 18th, 2017 around 6:28pm, Clarksville Police officers responded to a suspicious package at the post office which is listed as 2011 Fort Campbell Boulevard but has also has an entrance on Ringgold Road.

The package was black and had a symbol resembling a missile. There were multiple residences, part of an apartment complex, and a Burger King evacuated.

Clarksville Police investigate Suspicious Package at Madison Street Clarksville Gas and Water

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a Suspicious Package that was found this morning, August 28th, 2016 at Clarksville Gas and Water at 2215 Madison Street.

Madison Street in front of Gas and Water and Richview Road in front of Gas and Water were closed during the investigation.

Clarksville Police respond to Suspicious Package

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On May 24th, 2013, at approximately 2:11pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to the area of University Avenue and Commerce Street in reference to a suspicious package, which was a black backpack behind the building.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad responded to the scene and deployed the F6A Robot. The package contained school supplies and attempts are being made to contact the owner to return the property.

Clarksville Police receive Suspicious Package call that turns out to be Sand in a Suitcase

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On March 16th, 2012, around 9:18, Clarksville Police responded to a suspicious package call at 542 Aurelia Lynn. The resident had went to throw out the trash and noticed a piece of luggage in the trashcan.

It was a hard-shell case that had holes drilled in it, four wires coming out of the holes, and electrical tape around the wires where they came out of the case. The wires ran down into the can and the other ends of the wires were not visible. Suspicious Packages left outside of Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On August 15th, 2011, around 1:41am, officers were called to Walmart, 1680 Fort Campbell Boulevard about two suspicious packages left in the parking lot.

According to witness information, a male and female drove into the lot and started to unload two suitcases in the parking lot, but saw Walmart employees standing outside. The suitcases were then placed back in the car. The male in the car approached the Walmart employees and asked to use a cell phone, but the employees refused to allow him to use one.

Suspicious Package reported at Hazelwood Elementary

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department was made aware of a suspicious package at Hazelwood Elementary School located at 2623 Tiny Town Road at 12:17pm this afternoon. Police are currently on the scene trying to ascertain the contents of the package.
