Nashville, TN – Third baseman Andy Gonzalez led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a home run to power the Nashville Sounds to a 3-2 walkoff victory over Oklahoma City RedHawks on Wednesday evening at Greer Stadium.
Gonzalez’s blast, his sixth of the year, came on a 3-2 offering from RedHawks right-hander Adalberto Flores and gave Nashville (29-44) its 11th last at-bat victory of the year.
Peralta, Schafer Help Nashville Gain Split Of Four-Game Series
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds gained a split of a four-game series against division-leading Omaha with a 4-1 victory on Sunday afternoon at Greer Stadium.
Logan Schafer accounted for half of Nashville’s six hits with a 3-for-4 effort that included a pair of runs scored, the outfielder’s seventh multiple-hit effort in his last 11 contests.

Memphis, TN – The Nashville Sounds handed the cross-state rival Memphis Redbirds a 10-4 defeat on Monday evening at AutoZone Park in the opener of a three-game series.
The 10 runs scored by Nashville (25-40) set a season-high and marked the first time that the Sounds scored double-digit runs this season. Coming into the contest, Nashville was the only PCL team to not to achieve that feat.

Des Moines, IA – The Nashville Sounds split a doubleheader with the division-rival Iowa Cubs on Friday night at Principal Park, dropping the opener, 5-4, and winning the nightcap by a score of 6-0.
Nashville (23-38) moved to 2-4 on the season in doubleheader action with the split and collected their sixth shutout of the season in the doubleheader finale.
Nashville took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth of the nightcap as outfielder Logan Schafer and first baseman Sean Halton drew one-out walks off Iowa starter Ryan Rowland-Smith. After an Andy Gonzalez single, shortstop Hainley Statia hit an RBI groundout to the shortstop to bring home Shafer.
Vargas, Two Relievers Combine On Six-Hitter
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds snapped a six-game skid with an 8-0 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs in front of a season-high 10,044 fans on Saturday evening at Greer Stadium.
Right-hander Claudio Vargas (1-0) scattered three hits and struck out six batters over five scoreless innings to pick up his first win for the Sounds. Vinnie Chulk followed with a pair of scoreless frames before Donovan Hand closed out the contest with two scoreless innings of his own.

Nashville, TN – Nashville Sounds third baseman Hainley Statia provided the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning for a 7-6 victory over the Round Rock Express on Friday night at Greer Stadium.
With Corey Patterson on third base on two outs, Statia roped a liner to right field for the Sounds’ second last-at-victory in consecutive nights and eighth of the season. Nashville moved to 19-28 on the season and 12-5 in one-run games.
Conrad Extends Hit Streak To 13 Games With Another Homer For Nashville
Las Vegas, NV – Sean Halton and Brooks Conrad homered and Jordan Brown drove in a pair of runs to lead the Nashville Sounds to a 5-3 victory over the Las Vegas 51s on Wednesday evening at Cashman Field.
Six of Nashville’s seven hits in the game went for extra bases as the Sounds (17-28) snapped a two-game skid and brought an end to the 51s’ four-game winning streak.
Papillion, NE – Outfielder Jarrod Dyson hit a bases loaded single in the bottom of the 13th inning to give the Omaha Storm Chasers a 6-5 victory over the Nashville Sounds in the opener of a four-game set at Werner Park on Saturday night.
In his first pitching appearance of his professional career, Erick Almonte began the 13th inning by walking the leadoff batter and allowing a single to Terry Evans. Cody Clark then bunted to Almonte (0-1), but reached on a fielding error. In the ensuing at-bat, Nashville brought in five infielders but Dyson knocked the game-winning hit up the middle to end the marathon.
Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds dropped a 7-5 contest to the visiting Oklahoma City RedHawks on Wednesday afternoon at Greer Stadium in the opener of a four-game set.
RedHawks starter Dallas Keuchel (3-0) threw his third straight quality start to open the season for the win. The left-hander surrendered two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three in seven innings. Keuchel tossed seven scoreless against Nashville earlier this season on April 12th in Oklahoma City.
Nashville, TN – Reliever Jim Henderson provided the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 13th inning t0 lead the Nashville Sounds to a 3-2 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs on Sunday afternoon at Greer Stadium.
Erick Almonte (2-for-4) crushed a one-out double off Sandy Rosario (0-1), moved to third on an infield groundout from Hainley Statia, and scored when Henderson lofted the game-winning base hit to left field. Henderson was previously was 3-for-19 (.158) in his career from behind the plate.
