Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s cross country team gets its first look at the conference championship course this weekend at the JSU Foothills Invitational, which gets underway at 5:15pm, Friday.
Golden Pond, KY – Enjoy fall–take a drive through Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area. Revel in the cooler days, changing seasons, and autumn colors of your National Forest. Visitors interested in viewing fall colors can drive the public access roads that meander through LBL.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team concludes a four-match Ohio Valley Conference road swing with contests at Southeast Missouri and UT Martin this weekend.
The Lady Govs open the weekend with a 6:30pm, Friday contest at Southeast Missouri before an 11:00am, Saturday contest at UT Martin.
Clarksville, TN – The City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department is happy to announce the winners of this year’s “Art on the Park” contest.
The five finalists will receive their framed artwork and the opportunity to paint their design on various walls of the Heritage Park Skate park.

Fort Campbell, KY – Approximately 24 men stood receiving a mission brief on what was to come. At this point there was no turning back; in less than 24 hours they would watch the sun rise, set, and rise again enduring a series of events designed to test their minds and bodies to the max, proving they exceed the Special Operations Forces’ attributes.
Green Berets from the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), also known as The Legion, exited a CH-47 Chinook helicopter at approximately 10:00am on September 11th, 2012, and parachuted directly into a water drop zone marking the beginning of their 40-plus mile journey.
At the Taste of the Holidays event a veritable Who’s Who of Clarksville will gather to enjoy scrumptious food and drink, an evening of wonderful entertainment. “We would like to invite you out for a event that is sure to be fun for the entire family. The exhibit, which opens with a reception from 5:00pm-8:00pm on October 4th, will feature drawings and paintings inspired by the incredible rate of vegetative growth in the landscape of Middle Tennessee.

Nashville, TN – When five-year-old Tru walks onto LP Field as a Junior Titans Cheerleader later this season, her mom will have one of the best views in the house. Her mom happens to be Tiffany, a Titans Cheerleader who can’t wait to experience the thrill of game day with her daughter.
“To see the sheer excitement on Tru’s face when she talks about being a Junior Titans Cheerleader will be priceless,” said Tiffany, who spent a decade in music industry as a recording artist before auditioning for the Titans Cheerleaders. “She loves performing, and can’t wait to get out on that field.
