Deadline to enter Clarksville Community Centers’ Junior Film Festival program approaching

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Teens ages 15-18, here’s a chance to make your own movie! The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s Community Centers will begin the Junior Film Festival program March 25th.

This 10-week program will take place weekly from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at each Community Center.  The Kleeman Community Center will host the program on Mondays, the Crow Community Center will host on Tuesdays and the Burt-Cobb Community Center will host on Fridays. This program is free to participate!

Interested participants will go through an interview process to be selected for this program. Parents are not required to attend the interview, but will need to sign a consent form to authorize photos/videos to be used.  The Kleeman, Crow and Burt-Cobb Community Centers will each have a maximum of 5 students.

At the end of the program each student will complete a 5-minute film of their own to be entered in a film festival to be held at Burt-Cobb Community Center. Participants will even be given a DVD of their video to keep!
