Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Bark in the Park October 5th

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – Happy dogs and their owners are encouraged to come to this year’s Bark in the Park on Saturday, October 5th, 2013 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the King’s Run Bark Park located at Liberty Park.

Bark in the Park, presented by Clarksville Parks and Recreation, is a fun, family-oriented event that will feature contests, demonstrations, dog-related vendors and services, and dogs! Admission is free!

The event will kick-off at 1:00pm, followed by demonstrations and three contests for your 4-legged friends; a costume contest, an owner/dog look-a-like contest and best trick contest! Registration for all contests will be done at the event. Come out and watch, even if your dog isn’t competing!

Businesses that promote dog-related programs, services and products are encouraged to apply by visiting the Parks and Recreation Office at 102 Public Square or going online to download a form. Applications must be received by September 30th, 2013.
