Clarksville Obituary: Greg Green

May 23rd, 1965 – June 13th, 2026

McReynolds Nave and LarsonClarksville, TN – Greg Green, a skilled craftsman, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on June 13th, 2026, in Dickson, Tennessee. Born on May 23rd, 1965, in Dayton, Tennessee, Greg lived a life marked by craftsmanship, family devotion, and a love of the outdoors.

Greg’s formative years were spent in the Montgomery Central School System, and he went on to graduate from Montgomery Central High School. The majority of Greg’s working career was spent as a brick and block layer, where he was widely recognized for his skill and knowledge in masonry. His work not only reflected his technical expertise but also his pride and commitment to his craft. Greg’s hands crafted everything he touched with both strength and precision.

In his youth, Greg embraced the outdoors with enthusiasm and joy. Hunting, fishing, and golfing were among his favorite pastimes, offering him a deep and quiet connection to nature. As the years passed, Greg found his greatest happiness at home, surrounded by loved ones. The simple pleasure of family gatherings, often centered around the grill and celebrated with great delight on holidays—especially the Fourth of July!—brought him fulfillment and a profound sense of belonging. Greg loved and adored his family with a quiet strength that was evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Robbie Baggett Green; his children, Daniel Green and Anna Green; and his cherished grandchildren, Elania Green, Gavick Green, Kyler Freemon, Kahlea Freemon, Sadie Pickett, Zane LeMaster, Steven LeMaster, and Keaton LeMaster.

Greg is also remembered lovingly by his sister, Audra Green, his aunt and uncle, Donna and Garland Smith, and his cousins, Lee Smith and Peggy Smith-Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Green Sr. and Anna Smith Green, and his brother, Thomas Green Jr. Their memories live on in his heart and the hearts of all who knew him.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Greg are invited to honor his memory during the visitation on Friday, June 19th, 2026, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 12:00pm. Services will be held at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home located at 1209 Madison Street, Clarksville, Tennessee. He will be laid to rest at Baggett’s Chapel Cemetery.
