Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Obituary: Shirley Ann Ross, 21, left this world far too soon on October 12th, 2026.
She was born in Warrensburg, Missouri, on August 2nd, 2005, to Adam and Jamie Ross. The fourth of six children, Shirley brought laughter and spunk to everyone around her from the time she could speak.
She loved her family fiercely and found joy in nature, her dogs and cats, music, and caring for others through her many years of working as a CNA. She was most comfortable with a Coke, Takis, and Fruit Roll-Ups while watching Friends, or snuggled up in bed with her mom watching true crime.
She was preceded in death by her namesake and grandmother, Shirley Ann McCarter, and her grandfather, James Wayne McCarter.
Left to learn how to live in a world without her are her mom and dad, Adam and Jamie Ross, whom she loved so much; her sisters, Drew Ross, Emma Sinoski (Michael), and Ruby Ross; and her brothers, Benjamin and Maximilian Ross, along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 2026 at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Sykes Funeral Home.
