Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Obituary: Jennifer Susan Barnes, age 81, of Nashville, TN, passed away on October 9th, 2026, at Mulberry Health and Rehab Center in Franklin, TN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00am Saturday, October 31st, 2026 at Tennessee Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Beverly Dycus officiating. Family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00am.
Jennifer entered this life on May 24th, 1945 in Paris, TN, daughter to the late Royce and Phoebe Barnes.
Jennifer was a member of Dickson First Presbyterian Church. She had a heart of gold with a passion for art, all of God’s creatures – especially her dogs and her family. She retired after a fruitful career as a nurse in the healthcare industry; she will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Jennifer is preceded in death by her siblings, Phyllis (Ed) Bradley, Phil (Rose) Barnes; niece, Joy Rose Parks, and nephew, John Bradley.
Survivors include her children, Kam (Chris) Nola, and Jason (Terri) McMillan; grandchildren, Nick Nola, Phoebe Nola, Lacey McMillan; step-grandchild, Dana (Preston) Parker; nieces and nephews, Steve (Lisa) Bradley, and Kimberly Lambright. She also leaves behind her extended McMillan family.
Family would like to thank the nursing staff at Mulberry Health and Rehab Center in Franklin, TN for the loving and compassionate care shown; it never went unnoticed.
