Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have once again caught, Jacob Ryan Herdman, age 20 and charged him with Five Counts of Vehicle Burglary break-ins occurring between February 5th and 6th, 2019 in the area of Shadowlawn Court and Ambleside Drive.
After video surveillance footage was released to the public from one of the vehicle burglaries, police received information pointing them to Jacob Herdman.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify a man who was involved in the burglary of five unlocked vehicles in the area of Shadowlawn Court and Ambleside Drive.
The burglaries occurred during the early morning hours of February 6th, 2019. Around 3:30am, a man actually witnessed a male entering a vehicle and thought it was the owner, but found out later that it was not.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) reports an outage on the south side of Clarksville that affected approximately 2500 customers, due to a pole being struck by a vehicle on the 1000 block of Riverside Drive across from Regions Bank.
Clarksville, TN – CDE Lightband has scheduled two momentary electrical outages to replace a damaged pole on Sunday, August 23rd.
The first outage will occur at 12:01am for one to two minutes and affect approximately 850 customers in the following areas: Riverside Drive from Cumberland Drive to Hickory Grove Road, Riverwood Place, Southern Parkway, Talton Drive, Greenland Farms Drive, Ambleside Drive. (Greenland Farms, The Landings, Riverwood Place, Southern Hills, Benton Park)
The second outage will affect the same customers at approximately 6:00am when crews tie the new pole into the electrical system. This outage should also last approximately one to two minutes.
Clarksville, TN – On December 10th, 2012 around 7:26pm, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a kidnapping at Dollar General Market, 1945 Madison Street, Sharonda Belvin, 26, went inside of the store to pick up some medicine, left her 7 year old son alone in the backseat of her Chrysler 300 with the vehicle running and the doors unlocked.
Belvin had thought the doors had locked, but they did not. Belvin came out of the store about 10-15 minutes later and her vehicle and son were gone.
Clarksville, TN – On December 3rd, 2012, around 1:20am, Clarksville Police were called to a Mark Spitz address about a robbery which occurred in the parking lot of a business at the 1600 block of Fort Campbell Boulevard around 1:00am.
An 18 year man told officers he was driven by his friend Marques Townsend to the business’ parking lot, where subsequently, a male wearing a bandanna and black jacket held a gun to the 18 year olds head and demanded his money and cell phone.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan is advising the public that beginning Tuesday, August 14th, 2012, Greenland Farms Drive will be closed and/or lanes will be blocked near Ambleside Drive. The Clarksville Street Department will be conducting drainage work.
It is anticipated that Greenland Farms Drive will be closed for two to three days. Traffic will be rerouted in this area and drivers should expect minor delays.
Clarksville, TN – Willie Charles Cole was placed on three years probation, May 18th, 2012 for Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Vehicle Burglary. He was arrested again June 27th after he was caught driving a stolen 97 Isuzu Rodeo which had been stolen in Clarksville on June 25th.
Clarksville Police were called to the area of Stacker Street about a suspicious vehicle possibly dumping trash on the road. Officer Matt Ferrell spotted the vehicle on Short Stacker Street and then saw the vehicle run through a Stop sign.
Clarksville, TN – On January 17th, 2012, around 4:30pm, a 28 year old man had parked his vehicle in the parking lot of the YMCA, 260 Hillcrest Drive, went inside to play basketball, and set his keys down by the basketball court.
When he was getting ready to leave around 6:00pm, he found that his keys and 99 Jeep Cherokee were missing. Police were notified, an investigation was opened, and a stolen vehicle notification was distributed to area law enforcement.
Clarksville, TN – Detective Ulrey is requesting assistance in a burglary of a residence that he is investigating. On March 9th between 6:30pm and 9:30pm someone gained entry into a residence at 1383 Ambleside Drive. They took a large amount of property, but also took the families 4 month old german shepherd puppy named “Sampson”.
