2013 U.S. Army Soldier Show “Ready and Resilient” at Fort Campbell July 20th

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – This year the U.S. Army Soldier Show celebrates 30 years of being “Ready and Resilient” by paying tribute to many of our nation’s milestones, such as the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, the 75th anniversary of “God Bless America”, and the 60th anniversary of the Korean War armistice.

On July 20th, two performances will be held at Wilson Theater, the first at 2:00pm and another at 7:30pm. The shows are free to attend and everyone is welcome. Seating is available on a first come first served basis.

Beatles 50th Anniversary Celebration Concert at The Renaissance Center

 

The Beatles are coming to Dickson! The WannaBeatles that is.

The Renaissance CenterDickson, TN – In the wake of the London Olympics and all things British, The Renaissance Center will celebrate one of Great Britain’s most beloved exports, The Beatles, as the 2012 calendar marks the 50 Year Anniversary of the Beatles!

Joining in on the fun are The WannaBeatles, one of the best Beatles tribute bands in the country, for a concert and Beatles-related activities scheduled for Saturday, August 25th, 7:00pm. Pre-concert activities include several musical acts in the center’s rotunda and a showing of Laser Beatles in the Cybersphere Digital Theatre.

Fort Campbell’s The Zone to Celebrate One Year Anniversary

 

Morale, Welfare and RecreationFort Campbell, KY – One year ago, The Zone opened its doors.  This year, we’re celebrating one year of great programming, fabulous lunches, and relaxing evenings – all found at The Zone.

On August 25th from 11:00am until Midnight, The Zone will be offering a Nachos and Bucket of Ponies or a Pitcher of Soda for only $10.00; they’ll be giving away 1 Playstation Vita w/wi-fi every hour from 1:00pm until 10:00pm (must be present to win); the cake cutting will be at 2:00pm with free cake available while it lasts; and get in on the fun with the audience participation and humor to be found while you enjoy the dueling pianos from 7:30pm until 11:30pm. «Read the rest of this article»

Take a drive down the streets of the installation and you may notice historic street names. Names such as Bastogne, commemorating the contributions of 101st Airborne Division soldiers.
