Austin Peay State University baseball players having successful 2014 professional season

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s 12 professional baseball players have largely enjoyed a successful 2014 campaign with their respective clubs.

As the season nears its midpoint, three Govs alumni have been named to their All-Star teams at the minor league level.

APSU Baseball moves Friday game to Columbia

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, Tn – Weather continues to wreak havoc on the Austin Peay State University baseball schedule. The Govs announced Friday’s contest against Akron has been moved to David Hall Baseball Field at Columbia State Community College in Columbia. The Govs and Zips will start that contest at 5:00pm.

APSU Baseball releases 2014 schedule

 

Austin Peay State University GovernorsClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team will play 31 games at Raymond C. Hand Park as part of its 2014 schedule, head coach Gary McClure announced Wednesday.

Austin Peay begins 2014 with 17 of its first 20 games at Raymond C. Hand Park, including the season-opening series against Iowa, Feb. 14th-16th. It is the second consecutive season the Hawkeyes have visited Clarksville to start a campaign.
