Clarksville’s Multi-Color Corporation Awarded $20,000 for Incumbent Worker Training Grant

 

American Job CenterClarksville, TN – The Clarksville, Tennessee Multi-Color Corporation printing facility was awarded $20,000 for an Incumbent Worker Training grant (IWT). Multi-Color Corporation corporate offices are located in Batavia, Ohio and operates 87 printing facilities worldwide.

The Clarksville, TN Multi-Color plant is a wide-web rotogravure printer, producing die cut, pressure sensitive labels and square cut, white paper and metalized paper labels for the beverage and food industry. In Clarksville since 1981, their primary customers are Anheuser-Busch Inbev and Bush Bros.

APSU Women’s Golf places third at NKU Fall Classic

APSU Women's GolfBatavia, OH – A rain-delayed final round conspired to add some strokes to Austin Peay State University women’s golf team’s final score, but the Governors grinded to a third-place finish in their fall opener at the NKU Fall Classic.

Austin Peay’s final-round 308 gave the Govs a 921 (311-302-308) for the 54-hole event, leaving them three shots behind runner-up Oakland. UNC Asheville (305-301-308=914) won by four strokes, with Dayton (305-302-316=923) and Morehead State (321-313-313=947) rounding out the top-five.

APSU Women's GolfBatavia, OH – Austin Peay State University women’s golf used a second-round 302 to vault into third place at the NKU Fall Classic, with 18 holes remaining, Tuesday.

The Governors 613 (311-302) leaves them seven shots behind leader UNC Asheville and six shots behind Dayton heading into the final day of play.

APSU Women’s Golf heads to Batavia Ohio for NKU Fall Classic

APSU Women's GolfClarksville, TN – With Hurricane Irma forcing the cancellation of the GolfWeek Invitational in South Carolina, Austin Peay State University women’s golf called an audible and headed for Batavia, Ohio for the NKU Fall Classic.

Hosted by Northern Kentucky at Elk Runs Golf Club, the 54-hole tournament begins 8:00am, Monday with a shotgun start and 36 holes.
