Clarksville Police report Timothy Ogburn extradited from Kentucky, Served with Clarksville Charges

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, June 13th, 2018, Timothy Ogburn, 27 arrived in Clarksville after being extradited from Oak Grove, KY. Ogburn was arrested in Oak Grove, KY, May 23rd, for Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The Oak Grove charge was not related to Clarksville’s homicide investigation.

When Ogburn arrived, he was served with indictments from June’s grand jury for First Degree Murder-Premeditated and Possession of Weapon by a Convicted Felon. These charges stemmed from the homicide investigation into the shooting death of Julian Torres, 21, occurring May 19th, 2018 in the area of Bob Discount’s Tobacco, 505 Providence Boulevard.

Timothy Ogburn was extradited from Oak Grove Kentucky to Clarksville Wedensday for the murder of Julian Torres.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police reports Timothy Ogburn has been located in Oak Grove, KY and the investigation is still ongoing.

Ogburn is a person of interest in two separate homicides in Clarksville. The first is the shooting death of Julian Torres on May 19th behind Bob’s Discount Tobacco located on 505 Providence Boulevard.

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking for Timothy Ogburn, age 27. He is a “person of interest” in two separate homicides: May 19th and May 23rd.

The latest homicide, in which Timothy Ogburn is a person of interest, occurred this morning, Wednesday, May 23rd around 12:40am.

Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of Providence Boulevard and were flagged down at the 200 Block of Mitchell Street by a man who said a passenger inside of the vehicle had been shot.

Clarksville Police are looking for Timothy Ogburn in connection to Two Separate Homicides.

Clarksville Police release name of Homicide Victim on Providence Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police on patrol heard shots being fired on Providence Boulevard late Friday night, May 19th, 2018 near Bob’s Discount Tobacco.

They discovered a man who had been shot behind the Tobacco store. He later died from his injuries.

The man who was shot is Julian Torres, age 21, of Clarksville Tennessee.

Clarksville Police are investigating a homicide on Providence Boulevard.

Clarksville Police Investigate Shooting Death on Providence Boulevard

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Saturday, May 19th 2018, just before midnight, Clarksville Police were in the area of Bob’s Discount Tobacco, Providence Boulevard when they heard shots being fired.

They combed the area and found a man in his 20s, who had been shot, on the street behind the Tobacco store. He was transported to Tennova Healthcare where he died from his injuries.

Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from October 15th, 2014

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On October 15th, 2014, Alcohol Beverage Control agents of the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted compliance checks targeting sales of alcohol to persons under 21 years of age.

Of the 13 stores checked, 1 was cited for sales to underage persons. Agent Pew, Agent Steinlage and Agent Lee are the lead investigators as these operations are ongoing.
