Clarksville, TN – This November, during the Austin Peay State University (APSU) 2019 Homecoming celebration, the University will honor six distinguished individuals with this year’s APSU Alumni Awards.
The 2019 honorees are Outstanding Service Award recipients Dee Boaz and Shan Smith (’78); Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipients Catie Clinard (’11) and Bryan Johnson (’04); and Outstanding Alumni Award recipients Khandra Smalley (’05) and Richard Bibb (’65).

Clarksville Montgomery County School System announces Administrative Appointments

Montgomery County, TN – Dr. Bryan Johnson, who is serving as director of high schools for CMCSS, has been named Chief Academic Officer. Dr. Johnson, who earned his doctorate from Trevecca Nazarene University, served as principal of Northwest High School for two years and was assistant principal of West Creek High School for two years.
 Stacy Maley has been named assistant principal at West Creek Middle School.

West Creek High School hosts Basketball Tournament to Support Youth Development
 Clarksville, TN – March 15th marked the March Madness Charity 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at West Creek High School hosted by the LEAP Organization and West Creek High School (WCHS) Lady Coyotes.
The full day of exciting hardwood action was both recreational and competitive as the team’s battled on the court for trophies, prizes, and bragging rights.

Isaac Shelby returns to his roots as new Clarksville High School football coach
Clarksville, TN – After five successful seasons as head football coach at Northeast High School, Isaac Shelby has returned to where he played and started his coaching career as he was named the new head coach at Clarksville High School, February 5th in an official presentation in the school cafeteria.
Shelby replaces Ken Busbee, who resigned on December 4th, 2013 after three seasons at the helm of the Wildcats football program.
