Clarksville Police Identify Victims from Shooting on Carpenter Street
A group of individuals were having a cook-out at a residence when they came under gunfire from individuals driving a white Kia Soul. Five individuals sustained gunshot wounds. Two were transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and two were transported by EMS to Gateway Medical Center. No further information on the fifth victim. Deshawn Antonio Russell was already placed on Community Corrections for Aggravated Burglary, Drugs and Violation of Probation when he was charged with Possession of Burglary Tools and Simple Possession on March 26th, 2012. He was released from jail on bond, March 28th, 2012.

Man claims to have been robbed after not receiving Drugs and is arrested for False Report
The victim, Timothy Wayne Vestal Jr., alleged that an unknown male assaulted him and took $150.00 and left the scene in a car.
