Roxy Regional Theatre’s presentation of “A Christmas Carol: The Musical” opens Thanksgiving Night

 

Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – After the turkey and stuffing are put away on Thanksgiving night, bring your out-of-town guests to Historic Downtown Clarksville for family entertainment sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit!

Mark and Ricki Holleman proudly present “A Christmas Carol: The Musical” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, opening Thursday, November 28th, at 7:00pm.

In keeping with the theatre’s traditional pay-what-you-can opening night, all tickets not pre-sold at the regular price will go on sale at 6:30pm that evening for a $5.00 minimum donation. Due to the double casting of children in the production, a second pay-what-you-can night will be held at 7:30pm on Friday, November 29th.

Altra Federal Credit Union proudly presents Meredith Willson’s “Miracle on 34th Street” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, opening Thursday, November 22nd, at 7:00pm. Clarskville's Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Clarksville. As the decorations go up and the temperatures dip, the Roxy Regional Theatre invites patrons to ring in the holiday season at the fifth annual “Christmas Over The Cumberland” on Friday, December 4th.

In the beautiful setting of F&M Bank’s Franklin Room, overlooking the Cumberland River and downtown’s impressive light display, diners will be serenaded by the festive musical stylings of Red River Breeze.

A Chrismas Carol now playing at the Roxy Regional Theatre

Oh the weather outside is frightful…

 

Roxy Regional TheatreWell, it’s official, it is the time of year when we go to work in the dark and leave work in the dark.  Thank you daylight savings time.  We at the Roxy Regional Theatre must now wait until “spring forward” to be able to frolic about in the sunlight.

I guess it is appropriate to say that we have officially entered the 2011 holiday season.  The annual Christmas tree is up in the lobby of the Roxy, this year courtesy of our friends at Wal-Mart after a post holiday donation last year.  The walls of the lobby are being serenaded by the harmonic sounds of Christmas carols and good ol’ Scrooge is about to wake up from his long winters nap.
