101st Airborne Division Lifeliners welcome Engineers to brigade at Fort Campbell

Fort Campbell, KY – The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Sustainment Brigade “Lifeliners,” 101st Abn. Div., welcomed 887th Engineer Support Company to the brigade with an activation ceremony on October 20th, 2017 at Fort Campbell.

The ceremony, which is an Army tradition, symbolizes the beginning or continuation of a unit’s history by unfurling the unit’s guidon.

The company, which has history on Fort Campbell, was deactivated in January of 2015 when it was part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Abn. Div.

Tennessee enters Monday’s showdown after dropping two of its last three games, including a 64-59 upset loss to unranked Arkansas (7-10, 2-2 SEC) on Thursday night.

Notre Dame, meanwhile, has won its past nine games, including a 63-50 road victory over Boston College (12-4, 0-3 ACC) on Thursday evening.

TWRA reports 2015 Elk Hunts has Four Elk Harvested

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRANashville, TN – Three of the five participants recorded harvests in the Tennessee Elk Hunt held October 19th-23rd at North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area.

In the Tennessee Youth Elk Hunt, held the weekend of October 24th-25th, the participant had a harvest for the fourth time in as many years since the hunt was established. Jacob Parker, a 15-year old from Sparta, TN, harvested a 5×6 bull elk that field dressed at 547 pounds. Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission announces Water Fowl Seasons and Fishing Proposals at August meeting

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRAMorristown, TN – The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission approved the 2015-16 late waterfowl hunting seasons and was presented the 2016-17 state’s fishing regulations proposals at its August meeting on Friday. In addition, the participants in Tennessee’s 2015 elk hunt were announced.

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency announces 2015 Elk Hunt Participants

 

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - TWRAMorristown, TN – The six persons who will participate in the 2015 Tennessee Elk Hunts were announced during the August meeting of the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission held at the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Region IV headquarters.

Four of the sportsmen were winners selected in a computer drawing conducted by the TWRA. The four Tennessee residents selected were Trevor Childs (Knoxville), Roy Bivens (Tellico Plains), Andrew Coffey (Crossville), and Forest Landers (Afton). United Assistance Mobile training team helps Liberians take care of their own

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionMonrovia Liberia – The Joint Forces Command – United Assistance Mobile Training Team completed a week of training in Buchanan City, Liberia, November 21st.

The MTT mission consists of going out to remote locations in Liberia to teach future Ebola treatment center health care workers on how to properly conduct all phases of running an ETU, said Capt. Alex Ailer, a nurse with the 86th Combat Support Hospital, from Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

May Eagle Remembrance Ceremony

 

Fort Campbell KY, 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – A remembrance ceremony honoring Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell, is scheduled for 4:00pm Wednesday, May 11th at the Division Headquarters building.

Remembrance ceremonies are held to honor fallen Soldiers deployed in support of Operations New Dawn and Enduring Freedom and are held monthly, as needed.
